Sunbathing is a pleasure you should not resist. Albufeira, the "castle by the Sea" is in the midst of Algarve, in the district of Faro, the capital. It is an excellent destination for a relaxing beach vacation.

Three walls treasure almost 300 monuments in this beautiful town which is the gateway to the Alentejo and southern Portugal. It’s Roman and Arabic past can be clearly seen in the Agua da Prata aqueduct, the temple and the Porta da Moura.

From the viewpoints of Lisbon, one may contemplate the seven hills on which the Portuguese capital stands the passage of the great Tagus, the castle of San Jorge, the coming and going of the trams (number 28 is a must), the sunsets.

This is the second largest city, after Faro, in the Algarve in southern Portugal, and the incredible beaches are its main attraction. Here you will find excellent beaches, such as Rocha Beach, but also small coves, dizzying cliffs and ideal waves for surfing.

The north is the birthplace of Portugal's most famous wine. The Douro reaches Porto, irrigating the vines that grow on the terraces, and the district of Vila Nova de Gaia is home to wineries, taverns and lots of fun.
